Animatic in stylish black and white? Maybe with a splash of colour in some scenes.
Also, a narrative? may be needed to make the story clear.

The Secret Agent - Character Analysis
The Secret Agent
Name: Unknown
Age: 48
Profession: Secret Agent
Hometown: New York
Physical traits: long chin, square jaw, long face, 16 stone, 6”4.
Personality: Withdrawn, secretive, shy and driven
Weaknesses/faults: ignorant, selfish, and withdrawn
Strengths/Virtues: driven, hardworking
Illness: Lung Cancer
The secret agent plays a large part in the story; he works very hard as a Secret Agent, but lately the standard of his work has dropped at an alarming rate due to his illness (which he has kept quiet, and has not told anyone). Because of the drop in the standard of his work, his supervisors are thinking of paying him off. But if the Secret Agent can crack one last case, he could keep his brilliant reputation that he has earned over the years intact. He would do anything to think he had done something worthwhile before he died. This shows in a tough choice he has to make at the end of the animation.

The Dream - scenario.
The Dream
Main Characters - An overworked martial artist and a withdrawn secret agent.
Theme of Story - Epic Slice of Life
Major Event - a Dream
A martial artist and a secret agent are brought together by one dream.
When two overworked and exhausted men travel home from work, they happen to fall asleep on the journey home, leading to both of the men having a dream. During this dream they become emotionally connected, and after waking up they are very confused. Feeling they have known each other for years, yet at the same time they do not know what the other looks like, feeling each others worries and secrets, it builds some sort of sympathetic bridge between them. Until one day, by chance, the secret agent raids the martial artist’s house on suspicion of drugs; the pair meet, leading to an explosive finale.

Toon Boom v Flash
Flash
Pro's
Easier to use
more standard in it's approach
can make web applications and games
Con's
Made first and foremost for web applications
Dearer than Toon Boom
Toon Boom
Pro's
Made solely for animation
Cheaper than Flash
Easier to use camera movements (3d camera and multiplane)
Con's
Vector drawing is tough
hard to navigate
No pro studio uses just one animation software, it's abot being creative and using the advantages of both programmes.
